The world may look a bit different, but our mission continues and the needs of our kids and families are still there. In some ways they may be greater this upcoming season. We are all longing for connectivity, hope and good memories…all three of which have been the result of our annual Christmas drive partnerships for many years. With your help we are committed to bring JOY and unique memories to our kids and families this 2020 holiday season.
Christmas is not cancelled but it looks a bit different. Things have changed for our team, and we know your circumstances may be different too. Our commitment is to bring JOY to kids in Southwest Ohio while maintaining safety for you, our families and staff. Join us for our Socially Distanced (but still awesome) Annual Christmas Drive.
There are a number of ways to help:
Giving Tree: We will still provide Christmas gifts to foster youth from their wish list, despite not having a foster family party this year. Their gift wishes are around $25-$35, partners typically host a giving tree with ornaments. We can also send an excel spreadsheet of wishes for partners to coordinate their own virtual matching. Gifts are due to our office December 11th.
Adopt a Teen: We are looking for sponsors for our Independent Living and Bridges youth. Youth in both programs are transitioning out of foster care and living in their own apartment while learning life skills needed for young adulthood. Each list will have approximately five items and a few gift card suggestions. Sponsors typically spend a minimum of $150 to sponsor a list. Gifts are due to our office December 14th.
Adopt a Family: We continue to provide mental health services to area youth with a Medicaid provider. With nicer weather we can do this outside and socially distanced, even then many of our families prefer the telehealth option to reduce exposure. As we enter the colder months, the majority of our services will be via telehealth. Our families still have a great need this time of year, especially after the last 8 months. We have changed this drive to gift cards only; we will still match you with a family and provide individual requests for the family members. Gift cards are due to our office December 14th.

We will work with you to schedule no contact delivery at our office in an effort to keep everyone safe.
