Notice to CHOICES Stakeholders and the Community:
We know there is a lot of information on the news and the web regarding the corona virus and info about different events being cancelled.
After reviewing guidance from the CDC as well as Governor Mike DeWine, we are proceeding in a calm, cautious and responsible manner, and the important work of CHOICES will continue using caution and common sense.
At his time, our staff will continue to conduct home visits, attend meetings, court hearings etc unless they are instructed otherwise by CHOICES.
As always, use common sense and practice safe hand washing techniques, and stay home if you have a fever, cough or other sickness. If clients are sick we will re-schedule visits for when they are well.
As new information and guidance is released from the Governor’s office as well as our county partners we will keep you updated and communicate any changes to our current plan. This is a situation that our leadership team continues to monitor as we have discussions with our statewide partners and industry leaders.
It’s important to remember that the majority of people who are infected with the virus make full recoveries and those most at risk are the elderly and those with chronic health issues.
We appreciate all our staff does and want to balance our own health and wellness with the needs of our clients.
