Employee of the Quarter | Brianna Farr

For the third quarter of FY20 we would like to recognize Brianna Farr for Living the Mission of CHOICES. Brianna started with CHOICES as a Master’s level intern and was eager to learn and help clients. During this time, she gained confidence in working with clients and embraced a can-do attitude. As CHOICES ventured to provide mental health services to the independent living population, her leadership and innovation made her the right woman for the job!

Despite the hurdles and unique circumstances her job has thrown at her, she has persevered and continues to show up for our kids. Engaging young adults in therapy is difficult, but she never gives up on them and is always thinking of what comes next to continue engagement and progress. She fluidly takes skills learned through continued education and puts them to use with our young people. Even when there are setbacks, she approaches her job with a positive attitude.

Staff will describe Brianna as being cheerful and encouraging. From the beginning, she jumped into the culture of CHOICES. She embodies our core value of teamwork, always speaking up in meetings saying, “I don’t mind to help with that”.  Brianna is also a paperwork guru and always completes her documentation timely and proficiently. She strives for the best for herself, her team and for her clients. She continually seeks ways to build rapport with clients to strengthen their therapeutic relationship.

We love that Brianna is always able to bring hope to any situation, whether with clients or her team. She is able to smile through difficult situations and handles them with poise and professionalism. We are honored that Brianna has chosen to be at CHOICES and work with our young people.
