Employee of the Quarter | Kaitlyn Filadelfo

This quarter we would like to recognize Kaitlyn Filadelfo for Living the Mission of CHOICES. Kaitlyn is the first person to raise her hand to volunteer for anything we do. She loves planning events for her kids, summer activities, organizing the CHOICES picnic and puts forth 110% in effort. She has consistently worked across programs to provide a helping hand.

Kaitlyn is best described as go-getter! She is a taskmaster and is very organized. She recently asked for more responsibility in foster care, eager to learn admin duties outside of case management. She is patient and kind with our foster parents and youth. Kaitlyn embraces any new duty with enthusiasm, especially when it helps her kids.

Kaitlyn looks for ways to best serve CHOICES, not just the foster care department. She has been actively involved with recruiting activities, planning summer activities and visiting independent living youth when coverage was needed. Her organizational skills are top notch! Kaitlyn is sure to turn in reports in a timely manner and does a remarkable job updating meeting minutes and agendas for interagency activity planning.

Above all Kaitlyn cares deeply for the kids and parents she works alongside. She is often seen at school concerts, sporting events and graduations. She is eager to share every success her kids have as they work towards a bigger goal. Kaitlyn’s parents rave about the support they receive from her. Recently she worked with a family to outline a training plan and calendar for their recertification.

Kaitlyn is focused on GROWTH – for her kids, her parents, for CHOICES, and for herself professionally. She is a rock star social worker and coworker. Kaitlyn is good people…period!
