It is a great opportunity to explore other cultures, bond with classmates and display leadership qualities…oh and fun too!
Leticia is 17 years old and has been in our foster care program for close to 5 years. She has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Greece and Italy on a school trip for her Fine Arts class next spring. It is amazing that her county has approved this overseas trip, and really a RARE opportunity for a foster youth.
The trip is $3,000 through EFTours and Leticia is working very hard to save her money. Rather than running track this past spring she opted to work to make her $250 a month payments towards the trip. Leticia will be a senior in high school and is an A,B student who is working a part time job. Leticia is looking for a second job, because she is also saving to buy a car when she turns 18. YES, she is a very hard working young lady.
Leticia has made very mature decisions to finance this trip and we would like to help her out as much as possible. Leticia plans on attending college in the fall of 2015 and has dreams of attending THE Ohio State University.
