Holiday Giving | Winter Coat Drive for Youth

The warmer temperatures are past us and we soon will gear up for frigid temperatures. CHOICES is in the process of collecting new coats for youth in our programs.  You have made our coat drive a success for the past couple of years and we are sure this year will be no different!

The coat drive is important to our young people in independent living (IL) and home-based services (HBS). In IL the youth are living on their own, often working part time and use the bus line to get to work, school, the grocery and anywhere else! Their budgets are very limited but a winter coat is also a necessity as they have to brave the elements each day.  In our HBS program the kids we are working with often have many needs, and having a winter coat may mean skipping a meal for the family.

Together with your support we can make sure CHOICES kids are not cold this winter. You can donate easily online by clicking here and we will shop for the coat. Remember 100% of your donation will go towards purchasing coats!  You can also shop specifically for an identified youth, we will provide the name, coat size and color preference.  Contact Ashley Pester, Development Director, at apester@choicesfostercare.com or (937) 264-0084 ext. 122 to be matched with a youth or with other questions.

We thank you for helping our kids!

***At this time we are unable to take gently used coats. If you have coats to donate we recommend you contact the Life Enrichment Center also serving the Dayton community.
