September of Opportunity | Help Tyler with his Football Fees

We are continuing our September of Opportunity, with your help we want to grant individual requests from our kids! Often the youth in our programs miss out on experiences due to funding. We believe these experiences help build their self confidence, establish relationships and provide a positive fun experience.

Today we are asking for help covering the pay to play fees for Tyler who is currently playing football. He has an outstanding balance we would like to clear up for him and his foster family.

Tyler is a 16 year old young man, in foster care, from Miami County who is playing JV football, and it his first time playing in over two years. The sport is a great way for him to be a part of the community and meet new people.  He has only been in foster care for 3 months.

Playing football allows Tyler to be “normal” and be part of a supportive group! His county and Foster Dad have been paying the balance of his fees and there is just $66 left.  Can you help cover this amount for Tyler?

As we have said before, even a small donation amounts to something BIG when we work together! You can easily donate online by clicking here.  (You can select Tyler – football fee as the designation)

Tyler’s Foster Dad is at every game cheering him on, and some of his bio family has been able to watch him play as well.  Outside of football Tyler enjoys going to church with his Foster Dad and is part of the youth group.

We are happy to see he has so many positive influences and activities, a key piece as he works towards success.

Donations can also be sent to CHOICES at 1785 Big Hill Rd. Dayton, OH 45439. Questions? Contact Ashley Pester, Development Director, at (513) 659-8202 or apester@choicesfostercare.com.

Thank you for your generosity and encouragement of our kids!
