About us
CHOICES was founded in 1986 by Gina Frazier and Anita Johnson Patten. Led by their dreams and dedication to provide options in safe and caring environments for youth, Gina and Anita started a foster care agency. They were able to train and license five homes very quickly and provided six children with caring environments in those homes within months of opening their doors.

Your donation to CHOICES, Inc. will directly benefit the youth and families serve. Your generosity is important to helping us achieving our vision for a safe home for every child and reaching as many children as possible
Your donation to support the CHOICES mission and programming help our kids in so many ways! Collectively individual donations of any amount make a big impact. It is with donations we are able to provide individual and group activities for our kids. Monetary donation help specific funds or unrestricted mission support as chosen by you!
We would be happy to help you facilitate your drive and provide more information as to why specific items are requested and about CHOICES programs. We know you have a kind heart and want to help; sometimes there are items we cannot take. At times, we reach capacity for certain items as we have a small area to store things in our office.

Throughout the year CHOICES has many fundraising events or drives to provide opportunity or meet the needs of kids in our programs.
Our stories
We had explored and thought about fostering for many years. When the time was right, we weighed our options with different agencies. The first agency we explored was not a good fit for us, and we started to second guess if fostering was right for our family. Within 24 hours Samantha from CHOICES had returned a call about my inquiry. I had so many questions, and she was happy to take the time to answer all of them. CHOICES has been very encouraging and supportive along our journey.
